Founded in September 2008, Midtown Medical Group began as a small, local business committed to providing disability evaluation services to the Disability Determination Section. From the outset, our focus was on working closely with disability offices to streamline and support their process of managing and adjudicating disability claims.
Over the years, we have expanded to serve four states with 11 locations. Our expertise now extends beyond government agencies to a broad range of clients, including insurance companies, legal and litigation firms, workers’ compensation boards, rehabilitation and vocational organizations, private case management and disability consulting firms, employers, and HR departments.

Trisha Sullivan

A native of Sioux City, Iowa, Trisha graduated from UNO with her Bachelor of Science in 1999 and began a long career in sales. She co-founded Midtown Medical Group in 2008. Trisha is the proud mother of three teenagers. She enjoys spending time with family, watching her kids play sports, audio books, and is an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Amanda Jones
Office Manager/Scheduler
Amanda is from the historic city of St. Augustine on the east coast of Florida. She has over 20 years of experience in customer service, leadership, and administrative support. Dedicated to providing positive experiences, she strives to brighten the days of everyone she interacts with. In her free time, Amanda enjoys long walks in nature, playing video games, cooking, arts and crafts, taking naps, and snuggling with her two very spoiled and quirky cats.
Shawna Gusman
Medical Assistant
Shawna began her healthcare journey at Job Corps in Manhattan, Kansas, where she earned her diploma and CNA certification. Eager to expand her skills, she returned home and attended Iowa Western Community College, earning her Medical Assistant credential. With over 11 years of experience in the healthcare field, Shawna’s passion lies in caring for others, especially within underserved and disabled communities.
Balancing her professional life, Shawna is a proud mother of three children and a proud pet parent to two fur babies. In her free time, she loves spending quality moments with her family, shopping, and cooking, embracing the joy of caring and nurturing both her loved ones and her community.
